Safe-Harbor Statement
FAN-X, operated by Fanz Unlimited Network LLC, respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512), we respond expeditiously to valid claims of copyright infringement and have adopted a repeat-infringer termination policy. We accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners.
Designated Agent
Our designated agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2) is:
Fanz Unlimited Network LLC
DMCA Designated Agent
Email: support@fanzunlimited.com
(For DMCA notices only.)
This agent is also registered with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
Filing a Takedown Notice
Send a written notice to the designated agent above containing all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act for them
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list)
- Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it (e.g. the URL)
- Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner
Counter-Notification
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the designated agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
Upon a valid counter-notification we forward it to the original complainant, who then has 10 business days to notify us of a court action. Absent such notice, we may restore the material within 10–14 business days.
Repeat-Infringer Policy
Consistent with the DMCA, we terminate — in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion — the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, and may limit access or terminate accounts of any user who infringes the intellectual-property rights of others.
Warning: False Claims
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, consult an attorney first.
